If you kill somebody you inevitably do two things: you deprive the person of life, and you cause great grief to all the people still alive who loved that person.Adam Roberts Projecthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10001572970456425902noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-913609798232369293.post-6963236670635959072012-09-23T02:49:18.307-07:002012-09-23T02:49:18.307-07:00But you are not deliberately bereaving a human bei...But you are not deliberately bereaving a human being. Similarly, locking a criminal into a prison and granting their loved ones only occasional visiting rights punishes the (innocent) visitor as much as the (guilty) criminal. But both these things, it seems to me, are considerably less inhumane than deliberately bereaving a human being. Being bereaved of a loved one is one of the most severe emotional pains anybody can suffer.Adam Roberts Projecthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10001572970456425902noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-913609798232369293.post-56374085068526915902012-09-22T06:09:45.575-07:002012-09-22T06:09:45.575-07:00And erasing their memories is not inhumane? And erasing their memories is not inhumane?Zenekhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09279823435473857715noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-913609798232369293.post-68709526153487507502012-09-22T06:09:29.431-07:002012-09-22T06:09:29.431-07:00And erasing their memories is not inhumane? And erasing their memories is not inhumane?Zenekhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09279823435473857715noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-913609798232369293.post-18688527301380488682012-09-21T02:21:41.277-07:002012-09-21T02:21:41.277-07:00Very nice idea, yes.
